I am a curious 32 old doctoral student of the materials science from Aachen Germany, who starts now in 2016 to really look into the couch surfing community. If you want to meet up an open minded guy, who introduces you to some of the fun spots in Aachen contact me. I would love to meet new people, who want to share their plans and ideas.
I am living now 11 years in Aachen since I started my bachelor and I am close to finishing my doctoral degree. Soon a new part of my life will begin and traveling or going to new places will be involved, so it would be great if you help me to broaden my perspective and ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet me and share your thoughts, ideas and life goals with me. I want to try couch surfing from April 2017 myself and would love to meet some couch surfers beforehand to share their experiences. My current home is unfortunately too small to host guests, but if you need a guide or company in Aachen do not hesitate and let me know. Especially meet ups with people from Czech Republic would be very interesting for me, because I plan to travel or even move there next year.

Interests

Card games and dice games: I love any kind of easy and quick to learn game. Here in Germany especially dice games like Schocken, Mayern or Mäxchen are famous bar games to kill time or even as a drinking game. I teach everyone who is interested and would love to learn your favorite card or dice game. Oh and I love Texas Hold’em Poker.
Traveling: Every couch surfer probably loves traveling or meet travelers. I was lucky, that I already saw a fair bit of the world. I would love to extend this experience by traveling more and meet some of you in Aachen. Come and join in dreaming of new places and ideas!
Magic tricks: I have a passion to understand magic tricks, because they seem impossible on first glance. Form that I learned a fair share of own tricks. So if you want to see a cool trick I am happy to show it to you. If you are really interested I also teach you an easy one or two.
Science: I am a materials scientist and I love to research. I am lucky to be able to be allowed use the most powerful electron microscopes in the world. With the help of the microscopes even atoms can be made visible and from their arrangements we understand structures and properties of materials. This hopefully will bring technology further for a more advanced future and is fricking cool.
