Hi, I am Zeshan a filmmaker based in Pakistan. I have worked on a number of socially and culturally sensitive film projects involving the themes of human rights and social injustice besides arts and cultural projects.

I have almost explored around 70% of the Pakistan and now exploring some other parts of the world. I love to interact with new people for the culture and traditions discussions and open to all food tasting!
I have also done a public art project in Lahore "Stories We Tell". I am currently working on a video documentary series "Parwaaz" on inspiring change makers in Pakistani society.

I like talking to strangers. Make them friends and then cherish those friendships from across the world.

I am very curious about perceptions. Very passionate when it comes to liberalism and progressive values. Very appreciative of different points of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet with new people from different countries, exchanging ideas and stories, learning about new cultures as this enables me to understand them better and expand my horizons.

I prefer seeing new places from the eyes of a local and try not to make the touristy things the highlight of the trip. Couch surfing enables me to meet locals that can provide me with insights and show me around - if that’s not too much to ask.

I’d like to connect with people that will actually help me experience their city instead of just providing me with shelter.

Also, I have a space in Lahore, Pakistan. People from around the world who are interested in exploring Pakistan. I can be a good guide and I can get you the best food in my city!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every time I see the sun rise or sun set - EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's a treat and it's a blessing and it's something I really really love to see. It's also one of the reasons I love to see panoramas or get high up somewhere and just absorb the sunlight from a setting sun or breathe the fresh air in the early morning!
It mesmerises me.

Water. Pool or the sea; river or lake. Whether I am swimming or on a boat, water bodies overwhelm me. Water falls make me fall in love with them.

I know I was supposed to pick up 2 or 3 moments. But these are things that leave me awestruck every time and most of my most memorable moments are the ones around sunsets/sunrises or water...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can not teach, may be because I am a learner myself. What I can share is, that how stuff works in my field which is film and arts. I can explain how stuff is being done, what is filmmaking, what it takes to start an inspirational and social change digital company, how to manage your production budget and all it takes regarding managing the digital content company.

I want to learn everything that people have gathered from the experiences and knowledge. Everything interests me until it is coming from one insightful individual and connects with life.
