ABOUT ME

We are down for most anything, looking to meet other open-minded, intelligent individuals. Into anything marginalized and interesting (like ourselves - ha) We are a longtime couple, but we try not to be fuddy-duddy, I swear.

PHILOSOPHY

I really hate personal philosophies. I could say something trite about the inability to express so fluid and complex a sentiment in so finite a space.

Instead, I will allow Lou to amuse and offend with his assertion that all "Carpe Diem" proclaimers will be immediately denied :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We joined after couch surfing unofficially on an impromptu trip to New Orleans and meeting a surfer in the flesh. Then proceeded to surf in a round about fashion all over Europe. We wouldn't have had such a strange and wonderful time if it weren't for our eclectic, awesome hosts. We've made some amazing friends along the way.

Oh gosh. The U.S., Spain, France, Croatia, Turkey, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Norway...

Intereses

radical ideas. art of all sorts. We are both artists, and generally creative weirdo types... good food and it's creation (we'd like to cook for you!), good booze. strong coffee and hand rolled cigarettes (though Emily quit. sigh.) vintage clothes and cars, live music and dancing, camping and the great outdoors, furry friends, spectacular dive bars and all forms of undiscovered marvel.

yes! Our bookshelves are spilling over, our speakers are hideous but we enjoy a good sing-a-long, and our walls are plastered with art, much of it large scale, figurative nudes--just a heads up.

We have learned along the way that the very best thing for a weary traveler is a hot shower and a good meal. We are happy to provide both when you arrive.
