I've recently moved to Sydney from Canberra for work and looking forward to exploring the sights of Sydney. I am laid-back easy going guy who enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking and rock climbing, watching sport, socializing with friends, as well as kicking back at home and doing a bit of cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had not thought about Couchsurfing until talking to a few friends and figured it was a good way to meet new people from different backgrounds.

Interests

Food!! I enjoy eating and trying different types of food and cuisine. Open to anything except durian!

I am keen on the outdoors - hiking, rock climbing, camping, cycling. I try to get outside as much as my work roster allows.

I like to stimulate my mind with new ideas and occasionally try to attend talks outside my field of work. Also alwys been a fantasy/sci-fi nerd, yet I haven't been able to attend any conventions. Definitely would be interested if you're game!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Eclectic taste: Everything from brainless action (Can't go past Arnie), fantasy/scifi (Lord of the Rings), animated (Pixar, Studio Ghibli), Western (Few Dollars more, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), Martial Arts (especially from the 80s).

Music: My music education is a bit lacking (spent too much time in my youth playing computer games). But keen on attending gigs and trying new things

Books: I'm into graphic novels and manga. I also have read A Song of Ice and Fire, Tolkien and Gaiman and working my way through Thomas Piketty.
