My name is Zeynep. I live in Turkey, founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. I study industrial engineering at Gazi University. I love my country very much, but for the time being, I'm looking forward to traveling abroad. I was a volunteer at Best Buddies International in 2015. Also, I worked for children with disabilities.
I had been in Romania as a volunteer by AIESEC in 2018. I worked for orphans and tried to teach them basic English. I joined the work and travel program in the US in 2019. I was a cashier at Ho-Chunk Gaming Casino. In the beginning, I was in Wisconsin Dells then I traveled to Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, NYC, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston, Niagara Falls. At the moment, I'm in Kaposvár-Hungary. I'm responsible to organize a marathon and develop Hungarian people's, who are 10-50 years old, language skills. I'm going to stay here for one month.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always looking for opportunities to travel abroad because I believe that every country has a kind of magical story and we have to be a part of this story. I'm still studying and I'm responsible for my budget but sometimes it's hard to afford everything. So, I've to look for somewhere to stay. Because I'm in this situation, I want to host people who want to travel to Turkey. I believe that the best way of learning a country and culture is to meet with people who are from the relative country.
