ABOUT ME

I'm from Northern California, went to graduate school in Washington DC, I've lived in South Africa, and Spain for a year. Now I've got a regular job - so I'll have to live vicariously through surfers :)
I'm fairly liberal, easy to get along with. I used to say I'm an introvert, I suppose I don't mind my own company but in the last few years I've become more outgoing.

PHILOSOPHY

I beg you … have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. don’t search for the answers, which could not be given you now, because you would not be able to live them. and the point is, to live everything. live the questions now. perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer
