ABOUT ME

I guess the best way to describe me is that I laugh...a lot. I'm pretty much a fun guy who enjoys thrills and adventures and good+bad jokes all in one basket.

I've always been a weird mix of a nerd+geek+rebel when I was in school. I guess there's still a part of me that way.

Job wise, I'm a sports reporter most of my days. And writing has been my life.

But I love travelling and I always find time for it and I'm always on the lookout for new experiences

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to share travel experiences and meet people from all over the world. It's pretty cliched I know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't really surfed...but I've started hosting people in my home. It's a nice and pleasant experience and I do it again in a heartbeat.

Totally enjoy travelling, reading, catching the latest movies, and going around looking for good coffee to sip.

Recently re-discovered my love for photography. There are two things I'm trying to polish up now - sports photography and travel shots.

Love live music too. What beats a having a couple of beers with a good live band on stage.

I actually enjoy a wide range of J-rock. But I'm also into heavy metal, alternative and classic rock n roll. I enjoy country music and 80s and I am currently stuck onto that 80s channel on radio where I can sing-along.

I'm also a huge movie buff...there's just too many. Definitely rate Pulp Fiction, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Fight Club as my all time favourites.

Books - nothing really beats Harry Potter. But I'm totally into James Rollins and his Sigma Force series.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Got lost in Berlin whilst trying to find my way back to the hostel. Bumped into a fellow camper (was on a month camping trip) who got lost as well. We both decided to stop by a supermarket and buy some beers since it was pretty cheap (30 cents) and because why not after all.

And I absolutely love Japan. Been there once with my best mate, hoping to visit more in the future.

Definitely looking to learn more Japanese. One of my aims is to head to Tokyo for the 2020 Olympics.
I like learning more of local history and culture when I travel too. There's only so much the Internet can tell us.
