Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to know more local people and know about the city from their perspectives. In my past traveling, I'm either staying around popular sights or I'm busy walking around the museums all day, so I did not really have a chance to sit down and chat with the actual residents. This time, I want tp take advantage of Couchsurfing platform as a tool to learn the cities' histories from its own people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are undoubtedly "Fight Club" and "The Dark Knight." I like movies that are not overly artistic and niche; I prefer those that attract everyone and also imply a deeper understanding.
Hip-hop and Chinese pop music are the genres I listen to the most. My favorite song is "Hit 'Em Up" by Tupac.
I like reading all sorts of books, and I can't really tell which one is my favorite, but the books that I like all share some commonalities. First, they all have great originality. Second, the book should be well-written and have a high quality of language. Third, the book should be useful, whether in an emotional way or a material way.
