I am a tourist from China.The same with the other friends,I like traveling by backpack,but I prefer adventure on my bicylce,as cycling is really good for healthy and easy to communicate with local people and seeing differently beautiful view.
More than 6 years ago(16 June,2013),I left my jobs which were the tourism consultant and the national guide of tourist,and then started my journey from Hang Zhou where was the very beautiful and famous city in China.
Up to now,I had cycled in China,Nepal,Srilanka,Jordan,Egypt,Sudan,Ethiopia,Kenya,Uganda,Rwanda,Burundi,Tanzania,Malawi,Zambia,Zimbabwe,Mozambique,Swaziland,South Africa,Argentina,Chile,Bolivia,Uruguay, Paraguay,Brazil and so on 36 countries of Asia,Africa and South America continent.
I plan to cycle two years more in South America continent,Center America,North America up to Alaska,and then fly to Europe to continue my trip back to China.After my journey,I will plan to write all the stories of different countries in my book.If I meet you in any place,and you would like to share your stories and the cultures of your country,that will be great!
The first my experience on Couchsurfing is from Uruguay.I never try to meet different people in Asia and Africa by Couchsurfing,but I enjoy it now.
By the way,I am cycling in Mexico now,so I can't host anyone,But I may could give you some suggestions about how to travel in Hangzhou.

Cycled for Beijing Olympic Games from Chang Chun to Jiang Xi 3000 Kms,from 25 Jnly,2008 to 18 Auguste,2008.
I got China National Inspirational Scholarship when studying in university.
Cycled from Chang Chun to Tibet 8400kms in my gap year,from 3 July,2010 to 16 October,2010.
Worked hard in Tourism company in two years and 3 months(From 1 March,2011 to 30 May,2013)for saving money to fulfill my dream cycle around the world.
Cycling around the world since16 June,2013,more than 56000 Kms,24 Countries,3 continents......
