ABOUT ME

I am a Complementary Medicine Practitioner using a variety of modalities, I love my job and am darn good at it even if I do say so myself. I am a course junkie so I am continually increasing my knowledge of things to do for / with my clients. I am outgoing and generally happy (except if I don't get my daily reading fix). I like to keep active and love having company.

Interests

My husband and I have done a lot of traveling and lived in many places and still have itchy feet. I enjoy walking and hiking - we belong / have belonged to several Hash clubs. I enjoy doing a variety of crafts - crochet, knitting, quilting. I love being the "tour guide" and have been told I am quite good at it. I recently took an Art of Living course and am involved with the community in Calgary.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any kind of book - I must read daily or I get grouchy. Music - from Rock to Beethoven - almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were living in Inuvik, NWT (which is above the Arctic Circle) and one evening coming home on our snowmobile (no car) the Northern Lights were so absolutely incredible I stopped, turned off the snowmobile and just watched them. No traffic noises (I was on the middle of a frozen river away from the town)and the Northern Lights were so bright it was like a full moon. It was a magical experience.
