Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I loved hosting when I have the space and meeting people. I also loved when I was younger finding the small treasures of an area with help from my hosts.

Interests

Love nature areas and coffee shops. Meeting new people and hearing/sharing stories, enjoy volunteering, penpals and my dogs (not traveling with us).

Music, Movies, and Books

All music! I tend to like historic fiction, quirky murder mysteries and Gothic horror... but read most things. I am not huge on movies but watch most stuff even if no one else ever heard of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The biggest thing I think I have done is be open to new experiences and the biggest thing I have seen would have been on the Acoma Zuni trail here on NM. I was resting in a caved in lava tube when a pair of foxes came in to get out of the heat. They stayed there for a couple of hours on the other side. I tried not to move and just watch them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn. I tend to be stuck in my own world most of the time and behavioral science is a strong interest of mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A couch right now, with preplanning might be a bed. OR if you are traveling with pets that need a place to stay while you sight see, we can host for the day or night when arranged. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats.

If taking hwy 60 scenic route, can offer a private lot for tent camping if campgrounds are closed nearby. Just let us know. It has no facilities but only 15 minutes from hwy 60.
