ABOUT ME

Hello all! I am an American writer, photographer, and teacher who has been living and traveling abroad since I was 18. I have studied at Wuhan University in China with a degree in Chinese language, and am currently teaching ESL in a rural village in Nepal.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had the experience to host several travelers in the past, but not through Couch Surfing. I am excited to meet and share experiences with my hosts and fellow travelers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with many hosts, although most of them have not been directly with Couch Surfing. I am excited to meet more like minded travelers and see the world through your eyes.

Intereses

I am an avid writer and photographer. I enjoy exploring places more of the beaten track and seeing local culture come alive through festivals and worship.

Música, películas y libros

I read lots of non-fiction, but I also enjoy Franz Kafka, Tolkien, Haruki Murakami, George Orwell, and many others. I am very picky with my films, although Wong Kar Wai and the Coen brothers would have to be my favorite directors.

I love adventure, I enjoy riding motorcycles which I have done throughout South East Asia and I enjoyed hitchhiking as well, by getting to know new people and moving towards a new destination.
