I am a bit of a nomad at heart, taking on every opportunity to travel (wonder off), be it cities or the wild, famous or unheard of, I'm not satisfied until I can see it with my own eyes. I am at my happiest when on the road :)

Born in China, raised in the U.S, I have lived the majority of my life in Beijing and New York. I am currently doing a master's degree in Paris, and enjoying the abundance of French holidays to the fullest.

Extrovert, friendly, and easygoing, It's always a pleasure for me to meet new people during my travels and trade interesting stories and ideas.

As a surfer:

For me, meeting the locals is by far the most fascinating part of traveling. There are only so much you can learn from tourist guides, and nothing is more interesting than conversing with someone who could potentially have completely different traditions, customs, and cultural background than what I am used to.

As a host:

My current accommodations are regretfully too small to welcome any fellow surfers. I am, however, scheduled to move next year, until then ~

I watch and listen almost everything, so long as someone makes a good and convincing recommendation. (Except horror movies, which no one can convince me to watch)

Huge fan of Science Fiction, a devoted trekkie and Doctor Who fan. A good romance novel doesn't hurt either now and then, though too many classics make me sleepy. (Ironically, I have a bachelor in French literature)
