I am Zeynep, a freelance translator and interpreter from İzmir, a coastal city located in the west of Turkey. I didn’t leave the country until I was 18, but that was unfortunate because now I LOVE travelling. I love learning new languages and exploring new countries and cultures. Cooking, eating and sharing good food have always been my life-long passions. My sole purpose in life right now is to keep myself happy. I am a self-destructive perfectionist and a master procrastinator.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Some of my favourite movies are Nolan's Inception, Interstellar and Batman trilogy, Nuri Bilge Ceylan's Winter Sleep, Schindler's List, Whiplash, and Almodovar's The Skin I Live in. I also like watching animated movies. UP!, Wall-e and Inside Out are my favourite ones.

I LOVE Harry Potter Books, LOTR and Ursula Leguin's Earthsea series. Other than fantasy literature, I like reading Murakami books, my favouties are 1Q84 and Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage. Recently, I started to read comic books, but not superhero comics, more like independent comic book artists like Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon. I loved their Daytripper and Two Brothers. My absolute favourite is Saga, an epic space fantasy comic book series.

I really can't describe my music taste, maybe that's because I don't have one. My absulote guilty pleasure is listening Rihanna. My favourite artists are Beirut, Bombay Bicycle Club, Radiohead, Kanye West, Drake, Sia, The Weeknd, Porcupine Tree, Hurts, Coldplay. I LOVE MICHAEL JACKSON. I also think Hans Zimmer is a genius.
