Hey! I am Ziyan from Shanghai, China. Right now I am studying Transcultural Study at the Uni Bremen, Germany.

I am fascinated with different cultures - talk with the local people, meet different travelers, share and exchange the stories with each other. The world is bigger, more colourful and diverse than one could imagine. But through travelling the world is also smaller and easlier to experience. Thus I want to see and explore this on my own. As this does not only enrich my life but also has wided my horizon - body and soul one of it should be on the road. (reading and travelling)

What I expect most is nevertherless to bring something to the other people. That is also the reason why I have decided to study abroad for this major. My goal for the job is to prmote the cultural exchanges.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have never used Couchsurfing beforehand. Study abroad in the last 2 semesters was hard time for me. It was travelling that enabled me to escape from the shadow and brought me sunlight and cured me when I was depressed.
This new semester I want to start with something new, something, that I have never tried as well as experienced before. Thus I followed the suggestion from my classmate, who has used Couchsurfing for about 2 years.
