We're a bit busy these days (and working varied shifts), and are taking a break from hosting via CS. We still have guests once or twice every month, but it's a little too much to manage ATM. We'll be back !

ABOUT US

Hi! I am a Norwegian, currently living in Stockholm, Sweden with my Polish princess Maja.

THIS IS OUR SHARED PROFILE. We write together, or take turns.

I (hope I) can't be described in these few lines, but a few characteristics to get you going: friendly, sociable and fun-loving. I enjoy traveling and absorbing foreign cultures, I love languages and exploring new places.

Maja is a social extrovert who would love to hear your story. She enjoys meeting other cultures, learning languages and exploring the city on her bike.

I speak English, Norwegian, Swedish (and scrappy German). I understand German, Danish and some Polish.

Espen: Go everywhere, see everything - try everything at least once!

Maja: Treat each and every person you meet as if they were your best friend.

We host regularly, always enjoying the experience :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed the floor (on a matress, mind you :)) of the most international house ever, with occupants hailing from 5 countries and 3 continents! Fantastic experience.

Had everything from one to 9 (!) Couchsurfers in our little studio apt. in Stockholm. Every one a new little story to tell.

Met people from all around the world thanks to Couchsurfing.org. Every one of our guests brings something new into our life.

Interesses

We are very much into music, in particular Rock and Metal of most sorts. Maja is a choir singer and has musical education.

We both love going to festivals, Espen also arranges some trips with bus hire and layovers. Good fun :)

Espen's a pretty avid gamer, and is studiying computer game development at Stockholm University

Maja is a huge fan of germanic languages and she's currently polishing her Swedish, while not busy playing strategy games or maintaining her 631280374 social relations.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Movies: Depending on my state of mind, everything from an easy-going comedy or fast paced 1,5hr splatterfest to a deep 3hr psycholigical drama. Good story is a must for the waking experience, but for light friday evening entertainment a quick action will suffice. Maja likes everything that doesn't involve blood or WWII.

Music: Very versatile, but amongs our favourites are progressive and power metal, symphonic, melodic death and heavy metal. Espen also loves prog rock, and all sorts of mellow, moody slow-paced rock with dreamy lyrics.

Books: talk about Tolkien to Maja and she'll love you!

Stood atop the grand canyon, leaning over the edge - enjoying the marvellous view of the epic landscape.

Sat in a hot tub of an expensive cruise ship, with a posh drink in my hand, enjoying a loud metal concert surrounded by like-minded metal heads generally not giving a f*.

A 1000-km long scenic pub crawl in the republic of Ireland, a "full Irish" experience :)

Swam in a waterfall-grotto in the beautiful mountain landscape of Slovenia.

Gone surfing in Rio de Janeiro.

Countless wonderful festival experiences with the amazing international metal head community.
