About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world on two wheels

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, fun person who likes to try new things and live life to the full! There's always a new adventure to be had...

PHILOSOPHY

Always be open to people and experiences. If you throw yourself into an experience, you'll get more out of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to couchsurfing when I lived in Sofia. We already had 7 people in a 3-bed flat so we couldn't really host, but I went along to the meetings, and met some really cool people.

Couchsurfed for the first time in Ghana and can't emphasise how much my experiences were enhanced by those who I met :)

Interests

I love the outdoors, cycling, laughing, skiing, seeing new places, trying new foods, puns and jokes, sunshine, a fire on a cold day, coffee, cooking, red wine, running, going out dancing, staying in and talking all night to my friends.

I love trying new things. I've done everything from trapeze lessons to Indian cookery, so if you've got a skill to share with me I'd love to try it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books that have a twist, like 'A prayer for Owen Meany' and 'The Bottle Factory Outing'.

Just saw 'Untouchable' (or 'The Intouchables') at the cinema, and thought it was one of the best films I'd seen in ages. The juxtaposition of dark moments with humour is beautiful.

I love music and listen (and dance) to all types: classical, jazz, pop, rock, you name it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably some of the most amazing places I've been have been the mountains in the Highlands (Scotland), the Rila mountains (Bulgaria) and Santa Maria (Guatemala).

But it's the people that you meet who really make your travels (and your life) amazing.
