ABOUT ME

I am a junior at the University of Minnesota who is heading off to Finland for the summer to work and to Ireland for the academic year to study. Besides being a slave to academia, I spent my time outdoors in any way possible (biking, running, walking, hiking, canoeing, etc.) I am a museum nerd by training, but rather than spending days trapped in past while traveling, I prefer to spend my time talking to people, learning, and going on crazy, ill-advised adventures that end with interesting stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By asking probing questions, being down to do anything, accepting and hanging-out with anyone, yet am totally ok being by myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with one couch surfer in France last summer. It was a great experience, though I feel like I encroached on her life as she had exams. I hope to learn more about the ins and outs of couch surfing and really get used to the system.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My life is mostly just a conglomeration of trips and studying.
Climbed numerous mountains and volcanos.
Road trips across the US.
Backpacking across Europe.
Canoeing across the Canadian arctic.

But, some of my most amazing moments have been just sitting around with good friends being ridiculous.
