About Me

I live at home with my brother and my parents, we have 2 dogs. We live in the city of Sydney, close to all the art, music and culture of Sydney.

I study Environmental science and I have always loved being amongst nature. I enjoy going trekking and bush walking whenever the opportunity comes along.

I'm often seeing the local live music in Sydney and go out to dinner often with my family.

On the weekends we go to beach or play soccer. I often seek out something fun to see on the weekends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent 6 months volunteering and travelling in South America so I saw couch surfing as a great opportunity to meet people. I would like to meet other different and interesting people in the world, just to hang out and enjoy the company of other people.

Interests

I'm passionate about supporting live music in Sydney, there are some great local bands out there! I enjoy dancing and playing music. I enjoy seeing art, reading books in the sun, walking my dogs and going bushwalking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourites tunes.. wooh theres so many :) I enjoy POND, Mac Demarco, Kallidad, Fat Freddy's Drop, Kendrick Lamar, Bronski beat, NOIRE, C.W. Stoneking, old funk and soul musicians, reggae, flamenco, latino. There are many local indie bands I see in Sydney often, some of my favs are FLOWERTRUCK, Big White, Morning TV and the Tupperware party.

I like many movies, any that are weird, wonderful and exciting. Some are Trainspotting and Pulp fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is just an experience I have loved most from my travels. My Mum and I went to the Himalayas, to trek to Everest base camp. It was most beautiful and tranquil place you can be. Everything about the walk was stunning - especially walking from village to village and seeing the way life is in the mountains.

I would like to meet other travellers and create more wonderful and funny stories with you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share my home with lovely people who enjoy music and art, and would be happy to spent most of the time in the outdoors. If it suits you, we could go out to some cool places and see live music together :)
