I am an independent, optimistic and friendly girl. I studied in Shanghai and Hong Kong, worked in Shanghai, Hangzhou. And now I'm staying and working in Beijing. I like to travel, hike and join some activities that to meet new friends from different places with difference cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my colleagues recommended this to me, and she liked to CS when she studied in Europe.

It's my first time to join CS and actually, before I always use hostel for my trips. But I feel like CS can provide more good opportunities for me to know more people who is also interested to know new friends.

Interests

I like traveling. To some places with beautiful views, long history, lovely stories, all of these are what I want to see and learn. I like to meet new friends during my trip. I always find that friends meeting during travels, are the friends that can travel together with you next time.

During the daily life, I like jogging, playing badminton, walking in a park. During the weekend, I will always find some time to take a book and drink a coffee, and enjoy the sunshine of the afternoon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a Volunteer for the Expo Shanghai 2010 in the weekend for a month. At that period, I worked from Mon to Fri, and became volunteer during the weekend. It's so hot, so much sunshine and so tired, but the smiles of the visitors, and the help from other volunteer are so nice and unforgettable. I'm planning to apply for the Volunteer for the Winter Olympic which will be held in 2022. So excited!!!

I can teach anyone interested to learn Chinese.

I want to learn a new language and learn how to play guitar or ukelele.

I can share all my past experience staying in different cities in China, HK and Chinese culture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some Chinese dishes, if you like to try. I can teach you some basic words that you can use in Chinese and explain the difference between Chinese culture and western culture.

If you want to travel in China, I'm familiar with many cities, and I can provide some recommendation and travel tips.
