Hey lovely Travelers,
My name is Zoe and I am from Germany. I finished my school in 2016 and finally could start traveling and see something from the world. I started with Thailand and Singapore for a month and then went to Australia for a working holiday visa - I thought I might stay for half a year and go back to Germany then, but since I started this adventure and travelling, it is hard to stop again :b... So 10 months later I'm still here and planning my further travels through Asia and the rest of the world - I guess my life in Germany has to wait for a while :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really like the idea of couchsurfing and want to meet new people and learn more about the country and culture - the best way to do that is by meeting locals :)
At the moment I can't accept any guest, cause I am traveling and haven't been home since some months, but as soon as I am back I would love to try that as well and host people around the world at my place.
- meeting people
- exploring new places
- learning about other cultures
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm listening to almost every genre besides heavy metal or electro music.
I love music and how it sometimes can change your mood within seconds, so if I like a song, I don't care about the genre, the artist or how new or old it is.
It's similar with Movies and Books, although at the moment I love to watch or read stories based on true events. It's pretty impressive what some people have gone through or done in there life and really interesting to learn more about that.
But I also love to read and learn more about other cultures and enjoy watching Comedies, Fantasy- or Actionmovies :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing and best decision I've ever done is definitely starting to traveling.
Since then I've did my first dive at the great barrier reef, jumped from a cliff to do a canyon swing in New Zealand and recently swam with humpback whales at the westcoast of Australia.
But actually I would say it is also the little things while traveling and the people you met that make your journey unforgettable.
