I am a third grade teacher in the Des Moines area. I have an obsession with traveling. Trying new things and having new experiences is what I live for. I love learning and experiencing new cultures.

These passions were sparked at a young age travelling to Mexico a few times with my family. I loved seeing how our friends in Mexico lived their lives and learning about them. After that I traveled to Guatemala on a solo-trip to stay with a family friend when I was 10. I went to school there for a few weeks and really started to see that my love of traveling is really a need. I have been lucky enough to travel many more places.
The biggest adventure of my life was when I decided to spend my junior year of high school in Argentina as an exchange student. This was a defining moment in my life in many ways and really showed me that to travel is not enough, I want to have experiences and immerse myself in the culture.
