I am originally from Australia and have come to Europe to travel and explore from June - December 2018 or January 2019! I really have no clue what I expect to get out of my travels but I think there's greatness in that - in not having expectations and just going with whatever and whoever pops up!
I just want to lean more and more, through people, places, history, nature, books, music!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet and find out more about people, all our similarities and our differences! To come across a group of people I normally wouldn't meet travelling in hostels and air bnb's. I love the idea of staying with people in their home town and in a place they call home - that is really special to me. It is a completely different and incredible experience to stay and learn from a local.

I love love love music, live music is what I live for traveling! I love folk, rock, jazz - just a mixture!!

Books - just finished 'In Cold Blood' which was incredible though extremely harrowing and am reading 'House of Spirits' at the moment, which has been a magical and uplifting change!!! I love love love to read, it's one of my favourite things. I love Fear and Loathing in Lost Vegas, On the Road, Ragtime, The Picture of Dorian Grey, ALL OF TIM WINTON's books and stories!! SO MANY !!

Some great movies: Almost Famous, Into the Wild, A Single Man, The Royal Tenenbaums (love all of Wes Anderson's films), Annie Hall, Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette, Hunt for the Wilder People, To Kill a Mockingbird, About a boy ... ahhh sooo many more
