I was born and raised on the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii. Growing up in Hawaii was such a privilege because it's such a melting pot of all different types of people, foods and a big focus on being outdoors. But by the time I graduated high school I was ready to get off of the little rock in the middle of the pacific ocean. I moved to Boulder, Colorado to pursue a degree in Psychology. After graduating, I returned to Hawaii for an extended vacation and spent some time in Seattle as well. I returned to Boulder, finished the ski season, and then began working in a boutique hotel, eventually working up to be one of their front desk managers. After working with the company for five years I transitioned over to a new industry where I worked in a real state/property management office. The owner of the company sold the business so I took the setback as an opportunity and decided to travel!
