I'm Zoe from Taipei city, Taiwan, which is a little island in East Asia and NOT a province of China. I am currently studying for my master's degree in Aarhus University, Denmark. Before coming to Denmark, I used to work for the Newspaper back home as an editor, with responsibilities including checking facts in local news articles, creating titles, editing and so on.

I am an animal lover who is easy going and willing to take up challenges. Travel is like nutrient to me, being a backpacker is my favorite way to get a better understanding of the world, and couchsurfing offers me the best way to explore a city deeply!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although having much experience of traveling alone and stay in the hostel, I am still a beginner of CF, it looks so much fun and can meet up with people from all over the world, living like locals, I've always wanted to try it. After moving to Europe for studying, I have more chances to travel around, so I think it's time to be brave and explore this new way of traveling!

Interests

Traveling, hiking and watching Japanese TV series, and because I am a big animal lover, I keep a lovely dog back home and willing to talk anything about pet and animal. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to forget that in the summer of 2011, I hitchhike from Montana, USA to Canada with my friend! We met some crazy people on the road and some of them were really interesting, it was the most unforgettable experience I've ever had in my life.

Also, the voluntary experience in the Elephant nature park in Chiang Mai in 2014 left me a strong impression, it is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation center that people can visit and be educated about animal protection, it was a wonderful experience for me. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Chinese and Japanese, share anything you want to know about Taiwan, and cook some Asian food for you! (Homemade Taiwanese food or simple Korean / Japanese dish)
