ABOUT ME

If you come within ten feet of me, I will throw a tea party, and probably bust out some baked goods. Most likely, you would find me: doing yoga in socially unacceptable places, hoarding group snacks and hand-wipes in my purse (mommy status), and spending as much time as possible outside, with good company and good food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am an absolute Couchsurfing newbie, but I have only heard fantastic things from fantastic people, so I'm excited to get going!

Interests

I am a modern/ ballet dancer, so I would say that movement and the human body are some of the things that color my life the most. Our bodies are an amazing gift, and I try to spent as much time as possibly engaging with my own, and appreciating the joy of movement! Apart from all that good stuff, I love anything and everything to do with the environment and animals, which is my current academic focus. I love hiking, kayaking, and swimming, photography, poetry, massage-time, tea-time, and toast.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every 6am walk and sunrise-swim in the Atlantic Ocean along Cape Cod, where you naturally merge with the seals lapping their smooth bodies against the shallow sandbars and float with the currents into the greens and tans of the marshes and dunes. I've never believed so strongly that to know a seal is to know yourself.
