Learn to be less afraid. Push the limits of my comfort zone. Learn self-defense.
We are two flatmates who are more like brother and sister.
Zoe: I love people. That is the first thing. It is not always easy for me to communicate.
I ramble, a LOT - fair warning. However, as long as you don't expect me to ask questions, you have an insanely curious listener.
Turks believe the only way to know a person is to invite them to your home, and I heartily subscribe to this idea. :D
I love FINLAND because most Finns are not afraid of silences; and the Balkans, because of everything. Sarajevo is my love ::-)
Nerkez: I am into international relations, peacebuilding, a more green lifestyle and expanding my horizons. I am new to Couchsurfing but am a frequent traveler and so look forward to experiencing more of it. Since I grew up in 3 countries, I am a little bit Bosnian, a little bit Croatian and a little bit German.
TREAT PEOPLE AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM TREAT YOU.
If ignorance is bliss, slap the grin off my face.
The best things in life cannot be measured against financial gain.
Turkish proverb: Do a good deed, and throw it into the sea. If the fish won't appreciate it, the Creator will.
Accipere quam facere praestat injuriam - It is better to suffer an injustice than to do an injustice
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host whenever possible, and join meets if it is not too scary at that moment.
The very best, even with some sour apples :)

Pretty much anything. As long as you want to share, I will enjoy it : )
Music, Movies, and Books
Science Fiction and Fantasy in all three.
There are some songs that get me each time... A cross section would be like
As I Sat Sadly By Her Side (Nick Cave)
Belle (Garou, Lavoie, Fiori)
Keine Lust (Rammstein)
Hold On (Tom Waits)
Jos Sa Tahdot Niin (Samuli Edelmann & Jippu)
Karlı Kayın Ormanı (Zülfü Livaneli)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There is not this one AMAZING thing that I have done, but life is full of amazing moments. People are amazing, in both good and bad ways, the world is amazing - and whatever they say, it's magical to walk a summer evening drunk on honeysuckle scent on the wind.
Teach, Learn, Share
LOL very open to learning but not up to speed on teaching : ) I want to learn self-defense and yoga. If you could teach me something (a move or two) about either, you'd have my unending gratitude. Massage is another thing I am learning and practising, so if you know any technique to share, that would really make my day : )
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Croatia, Germany
Countries I’ve Lived In
Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Netherlands, Turkey
