I'm British but live in France, close to Nantes. I've traveled extensively in Europe, South East Asia, and South America, including a couple of solo backpacking trips where I spent several months on the road. I've lived in Argentina, Australia and New Zealand; worked as English teacher; volunteered in Cambodia and Indonesia; and taken multiple road trips in Europe. I work as a travel writer and web editor, including writing for the Rough Guides guidebooks, TripAdvisor, Culture Trip, and various magazines, newspapers, and travel websites.

I'm a very open-minded, friendly, outgoing, creative person. I like to meet new people and value new experiences and opportunities.

It's been a while! I previously couchsurfed quite a bit when traveling in South America.

Interessen

I'm an insatiably curious, creative, and energetic person. I take an interest in anything and everything, and love learning about new cultures, food, history, philosophy, music, films, languages, nature...

I love being active, whether running, hiking, cycling, walking my dog, doing yoga, lifting weights in the gym, or anything outdoorsy. I also have horses that I ride and compete regularly. I also love music and used to work as a sound engineer in London, although that's a whole other story.

Slept in the Sahara Desert, hitchhiked through Ecuador, driven across the salt flats in Argentina, hiked the Andes, paraglided over the ocean in Lima, Peru, got lost in the Atacama Desert, Chile, mustered wild goats in the Australian outback, practiced yoga in the hills of Transylvania, ridden horses through the Costa Rican jungle... too many to narrow it down!
