Hello, bonjour! I'm Zoe, I was born in Paris France but mostly grew up in the US and in Belgium. This gave me a first taste into traveling and living in different cultures, I am very grateful that I had those opportunities as a child.

I’ve lived in Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Czech Republic and Portugal. I took all the opportunities I could when I was studying for exchanges abroad and gap years, and I found jobs that allowed me to move to new countries!

I’ve been living in wonderful sunny Lisbon for 5 years now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The generosity that comes with couchsurfing makes for beautiful encounters.
Some of my best travel memories are from couchsurfing, it’s such a cool way to meet likeminded souls and to get a proper feel of the local experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2019 I hitchhiked 2000 kilometers from Brittany
(western France) to Lisbon (Portugal) with a friend. It took us 6 weeks, we couchsurfed the whole way and had so much fun on that trip.

It was an amazing way to meet generous and open locals who welcomed us in their cars and in their homes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I strive to be the person I’d want to host in my own home! I’m very chill and respectful, always happy to help prepare a meal and to share travel stories.
