About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I'm living back in Bristol now after 7 years in other countries and continents. But lets face it Bristol rules and I'd love to show people around some of my favourite places, (not all pubs).
I climb around in trees for a living and am moderately obsessed with them, so thats what I'm doing when you see me gazing at the sky and I am listening to you, honest.
I thrive on good conversation and even a good natured argument about any subject, I will usually have something to say, only bullshit about 30% of the time!
I cook, but only Vegan food so like it or lump it carnivores!
I have travelled in Europe, Asia and the Pacific and think it would be great to see a friendly face instead of another rip off tourist herder. I think maybe South America is the next natural destination, but not for a while as I'm a bit brassic right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always really appreciate it when people put me up and try and offer any help or skills I can. Its nice when people can be relaxed enough to leave you to your own devices some of the time as this takes the pressure off both parties.
When people stay with me I expect them to do what they like but treat me and my home with a bit of respect too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any book, bar Harry Potter- I mean how old are you? I'd rather read a cereal packet.
I love Daniel Craig as the new James Bond, but I can watch arty sub-title stuff too, Du Levande cracked me up in a restrained Swedish type of way.
Favourite song right now is 'When you notice' by the Shins, but really got very wide ranging tastes if a little "middlebrow".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Everest base camp,(north side). Then got lost on the high plateau in Tibet and started collecting Yak poo in preparation for a cold night. Luckily didn't have to use it as found some villagers who let us stay in their attic.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some botanical stuff.
English grammar; don't get me started!
