I have been working as a civil servant for the past four years. Before that I taught as a lecturer at a university.

I began travel only recently. My job doesn't usually offer me much leeway to take breaks to travel. So I try to make the most of my annual leaves.

Having seen much of Central, Northern and Western Europe, the SouthWestern Balkans and Eastern Europe region is next on my bucketlist. South East Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore) and Sri Lanka follow on the list. (I am saving up and scheming for these trips).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing in 2015. Since then I have taken three international trips. Two to Europe and one to the Middle East. I haven't couchsurfed much on any of these trips, because I was lucky enough to stay with my brother, friends, cousins, classmates in various countries. I tried hostels where I could not find a host. I did couchsurfed once: stayed with a host in Belgium. Loved the experience and would love to do it more often during future trips.
