It's my belief that traveling is one of the most valuable gifts life could offer. (Both me and my wife traveled half of the world, and decades later we still agree that this was the most exciting time of our lives, which is always great to remember. The treasure of travel adventures can never be lost, stolen, or lose value.)
Furthermore, being open-minded and interested in other people and different cultures is a must, if someone seeks the substance of human existence.
I also have a certain inclination towards anti-consumerism.
