About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a hyperactive, open-minded, communicative and cheerful guy, interested very much in people, different lifestyles and experiences. I take it as a great honour when you share all that with me. I'm always curious, I love to experience or learn something that I haven't known before. This is the reason why I'm becoming more and mre addicted to travelling, I try to see as much of the world as I can afford.
I'm a 27-year-old guy working for a British telecommunications company as a service designer (pre-sales consultant-like stuff). It may sound serious but fortunately it is fun in most of the time, however sometimes it gets harder and after those times I really like to relax by travelling, going out, or just meeting friends.
I like all kinds of sport and I'm living a very active life, I do something almost every day (work out, play footbal, volleyball, badminton or squash, or run etc.). Luckily this active attitude describes me in everyday life as well, I'm always trying to make myself busy and never get bored!

PHILOSOPHY

Always be positive! You can always change things in your life but the major components are already set - the way how you perceive the experience depends only on your attitude. Then why not be positive and smart-optimistic and get the most out of it? :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in Budapest for amore than 4 years now, so I'm pretty sure that I know the city enough to show you around and take you to nice touristy or non-touristy places - whichever you prefer :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted quite a few surfers already and met even more for just a walk/sightseeing/drink, and fortunately I've never been disappointed. I love to be a member of this community of people brave and easy-going enough to travel on their own and mingle with like-minded people who are but complete strangers. :)

Interests

My hobbies are sports (almost all of them), cooking, discovering the city I'm living in, travelling, and the most important: I prefer to do them in company. Lock me in a room alone and it will drive me totally crazy. :)

I'm a huge dog-lover, I had a dog once but they are not allowed in the flat where I live now. But I will adopt one again as soon as I move from here. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm fond of Quentin Tarantino's films, I just can't watch them enough times, they have so a unique style! I also like watching comedies and series as well, but unfortunately I don't have too much time for them. Except is Game of thrones. I always make some time for it. :)
When I have time I like to read, especially Márquez, Kundera, Vonnegut and Stephen King. I like to read in German to practice the language.
I like all kinds of music. Really, you could hardly name a quality artist of any style of music I don't welcome, let it be anything from hard rock through soul to electronic. Diversity is the keyword!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I'm going do: I'm going to run the marathon in 2015!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in quite everything that happens on this planet, every new experience, situation may teach you something that you haven't known that far. I really like to know new people, new cultures, new places. I like to get in conversations with everybody, even strangers as well, I can learn a lot from them and the other way around.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll gladly show you around in the city, show you the sights or some less touristy places, bars. All you need to do for this service is to visit Budapest on a weekend (as I'm working on weekdays and won't have time for you).

Countries I’ve Visited
