About Me
I'm different. Most of the time I'm in my head thinking of new stories/inventions/business plans so that I can forget about them later but I still manage to be a socialite and a good listener. My hobbies include anything that gives perspective and makes one think. It's a broad description, I know, but includes everything from video games/books/movies to hiking, concerts and parties.
I can't live without:
- Stories
- Dogs
- Coffee
- Questions
- Honest emotion
Can't live with:
- Bigotry
- Willful ignorance
- Violence
- Drama
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I quit my job to travel the United States for a little bit. While I can handle traveling and camping solo without issue, I really want to make some meaningful connections with other people. Admittedly, I feel at my best when I can help others with their chores and share music and food with a community. Couch Surfing is the easiest (and most affordable) way to accomplish that goal.
Interests
I love stories. Whether told by another person, read in a book, viewed in a movie or controlled in a video game. As such, books, film and video games are three of my top interests.
Beyond that, I love technology that can be used for good. I live for inspiring innovation in the minds of creatives. Ultimately I want to ensure that the next generation of humans is better than my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I work with people who suffer from chronic depression and have prevented multiple suicides over the years.
Teach, Learn, Share
I consider myself an autodidact so I am always, ALWAYS, trying to learn something new.
What I can teach varies. I live by the philosophy of "know everything about something and something about everything." While it's unlikely that I will teach you a craft or skill in our time together, discussions on life philosophy tend to give me a chance to share what I know best.
I'm also pretty great at video games and will help you beat the boss.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will lend my energy, my stories and my ear.
