In Barcelona and then heading to New York...
I have been trying to save the world since I was 10 years old! And I try to maintain a sense of humour about what I do and life in general :-) I am passionate about creativity and about trying to play some part in creating a more just, peaceful and sustainable world. At the same time I love having a laugh, a drink and taking photos (check out some of my photos on my profile). I love beauty: in nature, design, art, film, theatre and, of course, people. I'm curious, passionate, optimistic and have a very active imagination.
I'm from the exceptionally beautiful city of Cape Town and have recently moved to Johannesburg for work.
I'm a global citizen: I believe that we are all connected and that as human beings we all have more in common than what divides us. I have friends all over the world and love meeting people and making new friends that share the same values as I do.
Stay human. Be positive. Smile. Laugh. Laugh again. Think. Read. Walk. Drink. Talk. Hug. Share. Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As someone that grew up during the bad days of Apartheid in South Africa, I guess I would have to say that being part of the liberation of a country has been amazing. I was involved as a kid and it was kind of weird when I think about it but pretty amazing. And then there's a million moments: mountains, and sunsets, and oceans, and butterflies, and the call of the muezzin at dusk by the river in Istanbul. For me its all about the little moments and not necessarily one grand experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always want to learn about different ways of being; about what people do in their daily lives and how they understand their worlds. I'm willing to share my experiences, my knowledge of South African society and history and my knowledge of South African wine (yes, there's a theme there ;-)And also keen on taking photos or doing creative stuff together.
