Overview
About Me
Hi! We're Zooey and Irene, two besties who moved from San Francisco to New York, to follow our biggest dreams. We are both recovering techies, creatives, friendly, considerate and very responsible. Our mission in life is to cherish and live it as meaningfully as possible, in our individual ways.
I am a freelance visual designer, illustrator and writer. I plan on applying to NYU Tisch, this fall, for their program in filmmaking. I am passionate about creating work that peeks into the human condition. If you need a sweet logo, I've got your back.
Irene is a poet, aspiring actress, and the owner of her own business, Wild Woman Wares, an online shop that carries socially conscious and ethically created products. She is passionate about empowering and supporting women through their own creative journeys towards happiness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently we are working on a city guide that focuses on the many diverse communities, and cultures of New York. The goal is to show love and give back to these communities through photos and writing of our experiences.
We are looking for an extra bed or couch to crash on for 1-2 nights as we're hopping around exploring different neighborhoods.
So far we've been to LES, Jamaica, Bushwick, Williamsburg, Crown Heights, Harlem, Midtown, Astoria and East Village!
