Currently (since July 2015) travelling around Europe with no plane ticket back to the States.

I enjoy having fun and trying new things. Also, games. Board games. Card games. Video games? Why not. Especially if it is Mario Party! And there's gummy bears and popcorn involved!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling I want to meet locals to get a sense of the culture of the area (to see and experience things I would have otherwise missed with a Google search), to hear new stories, and to get new perspectives.

Just before coming out to Paris (July 2015) I took the Upright Citizens Brigade 101 Improv Class in LA and wanted to continue my improv so I utilized CS to create events and gather people together to teach them, learn from them, and do some long-form improv scenes. It was so much fun! I hosted 5 improv meet-ups at a garden and a cemetery in the city and met some really great people that I will soon see in their own countries on my continuing travels.

So, I am using CS to find places to stay during my travels, to meet locals (cuz a place with locals is always better), to meet new people from wherever, have some fun, experience new things, get new perspectives, and to learn and teach. Maybe other things too, but that's it for now.
