ABOUT ME

I hate trying to describe myself! I'm one of those people that are really quiet and keep to themselves when you first meet them. But after a while I open up and end up completely shattering your first impression. I have a crazy passion for music; both listening to it and writing it. I like quoting movies a lot, too. My ex once told me it was a waste of my intelligence. Forget that! I find the absurd absurdly funny.

I love cats, can stand dogs though I'd never own one. I don't smoke... anything. I've actually never done any kind of drug. But I have been drunk MANY times. I'd rather hang at a bar with friends than some meat-market club pretending to know how to dance.

I graduated high school and immediately joined the workforce. I do okay for myself, own a house and all that, but now in my early 30's I have the urge to go back to school.

I know that was all over the place, sorry. I joined this group because I'm going to be going to Sweden for a couple weeks (because I'm thinking of moving there) and really want to network. Possibly make some acquaintances since I presently don't know anyone over there.

PHILOSOPHY

I really believe in being aware of your surroundings. Too many people these days are completely self-involved and oblivious to the other people around them.
Respect, courtesy, and equality are high on my list, too. I don't believe in god or religion, but I am okay with them if they help someone else be a good person.
