CURRENT MISSION

With this trip (Palermo to Rome, 29th Aug - 10th Sept) I'm hoping to connect a bit with my abandoned Italian heritage, understand more about Italian culture, visit natural beauty spots, see some of the ancient elements, meet interesting people, find contradictions, have some fun, notice little quirks, be surprised and make some juicy memories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've loved hosting and have also been extremely fortunate to be hosted myself in a variety of places around the world and each time has been truly wonderful. I haven't couchsurfed for years but I used to rave to everyone I meet about the virtues of couchsurfing whenever the opportunity arises, so I'm looking forward to trying it again.

There may be things to learn from my way in the world, as there surely is with everyone. I'm used to talking to interested others about co-housing, counselling and ethical non-monogamy.

I'd love to learn about Italy, especially it's customs, rituals, history, psychology, habits, contradictions and quirks!
