One day at a time, I am living in the present.
I'm a quiet, calm person. Not a noisy party type. I like walking, swimming, cycling, being out in the countryside.
The feel of life is more important than words. The real challenge is to capture how it feels to you and convey it to another human being. Sometimes words do it, sometimes music, sometimes art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to couch surfing, finding out how it works.
I love music - especially classical music. If I really must have a favourite, I suppose it is Mahler, but I like Gershwin, Renaissance music, and more modern music too. Ligeti. Kate Bush. Jazz. Amy Winehouse.
I like to eat and drink healthy stuff, and I like cooking. I like chocolate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 3 weeks training English teachers in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got 20+ years experience teaching English so if you want to practice with a native speaker, I'm up for that. Can we do it over a beer or a coffee?
Or: I can teach you how to make the central European version of brioche, known as kalács in Hungarian.
Or: I can cook you a meal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
It depends on you. We could go and have a chat over a beer. I'm a good listener.
