About Me
Hello! I'm an artist and a graphic design student from Bulgaria. I have a little experience in travelling and couchsurfing, but from the first time I realized travelling and meeting up different people, cultures and sites can become even addictive! I have always been interested in the way people around the world live and think. And recently I even started picking up some languages again. I've seen a video of that one boy who knew 20 languages at the mere 16 years of age! Guess how he was learning them? With books, movies and directly from people he met around! But after all language is nothing but a tool for us to get to know each other and be understood. So what really fired me up in travelling is that simple curiosity to see and know people and the world better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting up new people, new cultures, new beautiful sites. I like seeing things in a different angle, and what is better than seeing that city and country trough the eyes of someone that has lived there and knows it's secrets and awesome places and stories! Places and stories you won't see in the travelling guide...
Interests
Well where do I start? It's funny 'cause we had this test in one of our psychology classes that had to determine in which area you're most developed and interested in. Turns out I'm in all, but not one was really more than the others.
After this intro I can confess I've had a lot of "periods" with music, books or even certain hobbies and activities. I like reading, mostly fantasy books, but since I try out so many and read them so fast they tend to mash up in my head a little over time. I love drawing and that's why I chose the hard path of an art student. I like listening to music and my interests trough time pretty much follow the way I was thinking and my feelings back then. For instance since I started watching animes and reading manga Jrock kicked in, after it there was Kpop and so on. As well as my way of drawing I don't think I have a distinguished style in anything, I just love the variety and I think nature's diversity and plurality is what makes it so awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books
Wow... ok... they are like A LOT
But lets say ... books Harry Potter and all that has ever been written by Terry Pratchett, now I'm reading fantasy (again) - the series of Sergei Lukyanenko. If you want to know more you can find me in Goodreads and we can be book buddies ^^ (my name there is Zorica Pencheva )
Music - recently I swing from style to style a lot. Like I've listened vigorously to Marilyn Manson and Eminem when i was young. Now I like Florence and the Machine, Arctic Monkeys, The Raconteurs, at the same time Oomph and Miyavi and One OK rock and Of monsters and man and some pop-ish groups and songs and I really like collecting awesome soundtracks from movies and animes I've watched (Try Wir sind die nacht, Queen of the damned, Sucker punch, Hunger games- catching fire...) . But mostly I like finding some new pearls like my last You tube dig out - Melanie Martinez.
For movies... there was a period years ago when I watched like all the movies of Johnny Depp XD The last movie I was really in love with was the new french production of the Beauty and the beast (La belle et la bête) from 2014. I also like animated movies like How to train your dragon, Big hero 6, Lilo and Stitch, Lion king and Brother bear... Ok turns out I mostly enjoy animations :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well... when I was little I used to sing in on concerts in front of lots of people. Now I'm kinda shy and nervous around lots of people and cameras, so that thing really sounds amazing to me now XD
What I Can Share with Hosts
Unfortunately I live at a campus, since I'm not from the city I study in. But I'd love to meet up with people and try to show them some places in Sofia that only art students will know well :D
