Music, Movies, and Books

watched 'defiance' (with daniel craig) a few nights ago, what a disappointment! the subject-matter is really powerful, however the acting (including bad accents), costume, cinematography and directing is awful! i kept on thinking how better the film would have been with an edgier director and lower budget.

possibly my favourite director is pedro almodovar. i recommend watching 'broken embraces', i watched the film after working 12 hours on my feet and the film kept my attention throughout (this maybe a good test for a film). i particularly like his charactor studies and his play with memory.

quite liked 'coco before chanel' (although it could have been better scripted) and 'changeling'. i wish i had more time to watch films!
