ABOUT ME

We have been living in Paris for the last three years. Before moving back to our hometown in Montréal, Canada, we are traveling for the summer in Central and Southeastern Europe.

Guillaume is doing his PhD in Science Po. Paris while Geneviève is an architect graduated from McGill School of Architecture.

We enjoy discussions about everything since we are both very curious. We share the love of traveling and exploring new places.

Guillaume is addicted to reading, which means he reads everything passing before his eyes, including the backside of the cereal box. Nonetheless, he prefers novels, especially from Chandler, Tremblay or Gogol. He went several times to Russia for the last 7 years for research purposes.

Geneviève always keeps her sketchbook close-by to capture a special view or event. She is a fervant hiker and a good novel reader. She went hiking in Ireland and US for severals days at a time. She also has the habit of reading all night untill her eyes are hitching from fatigue, explaining her very thick glasses.

Our past vacation was cycle touring for two weeks in a low mountain range in Québec.

PHILOSOPHY

Guillaume is deeply convinced that each minute of his life should be spent in a constructive way. Unfortunately, his laziness problem is currently threatening the realisation of this philosophy.

Geneviève tries to live her life without reserve.

We were both hosted in Mexico and Ireland and participated in couchsurfers' meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- Went alone from Saint-Petersburg to lake Baikal by train, and back.
- I read "The Idiot", from Dostoeivsky, in russian. It took me three weeks and had a very bad effect on my assiduity at school.
-walked the Dingle Way in Ireland for 120km in 7 days
- we lived for three years in the most butiful city of Paris
- we have been a couple for 11 years
