To teach people about the wonderful place I live, and to meet new people to discuss life with!

ABOUT ME

My partner Karl and I live in beautiful Clonakilty, where we keep our much loved pet rats, and a couple of dogs (so any CSers must be animal friendly!). We love to go out on regular birdwatching and photography excursions, and enjoy reading, music, cooking, nature, travel and walking.

PHILOSOPHY

We try to live each day to the full - always trying to do what we can to help others and to look after the local heritage and nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're pretty new to this, but would love to host anyone who is even vaguely interested in the natural surroundings here in West Cork (we're also more than happy to host those who are not, but we have more to offer to those who are!). We're quite involved in the local music scene, and can offer advice on good nights out and good food. We also love to cook, and are happy to invite any CSers staying with us to eat here, however, some contribution to food supply is always welcome!
We're members of the local bird group, and know a good few very nice local areas for birdwatching, wildlife watching and other nature based activities.
