My hometown Ulan-Ude is situated in Siberia near Mongolia and China. I' m from the Republic of Buryatia which is not far from the deepest and the clearest lake in the world Baikal. The historical roots of the Buryat culture are related to the Mongolic peoples. After Buryatia was incorporated into Russia, it was exposed to two traditions – Buddhist and Christian.
