A very spontaneous and funny guy. Laid back. I am currently teaching elementary school aged children in California, and I spend my summers in Yosemite and the Sierras exploring. My loves in life are good beer, outdoors, hockey, and teaching.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Munich and looking forward to meeting more open-minded surfers. I have also hosted in California.

Interests

I recently caught the travel bug and am always looking for a new place to visit. I love hiking and climbing mountains, as well as skiing down them. I am also an avid hockey player that wishes my equipment were easier to pack along.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love the feeling of finally reaching the peak of a mountain and looking down at what I just conquered. I have knocked down a few 14'rs so far, including two of the top three highest peaks in the continental US. I also have caught sunrise on top of Half Dome in Yosemite, beating the rest of the crowd, with the peak all to myself.
