Sparked by a study-abroad experience in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, which was organized by my university back in Singapore , I realized my passion for learning, traveling and world cultures. Not only did it broadened my view of the world and provided perspective for my life, it also provided me enough structure to build independence and find success. Being someone who is bubbly and extrovert, I found myself making international friends and mixing with locals at great ease. This allows me to immerse myself into a new environment and culture readily, soaking in the beauty a country has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This 2016, I was provided with yet another study-abroad opportunity to undergo 6 months of study in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Ever since coming here in January, I have been to 6 cities and 2 towns in the UK, and am looking forward to embarking on more trips around Ireland and Europe. Furthermore, as I am fairly new on this platform, and as a student with a tight budget for traveling yet extremely eager to see the world, I hope you guys can give me a chance to couchsurf at your place! I believe with this opportunity, it will help build confidence for myself who had not traveled in a foreign country far from home.

Some days I binge on tv series, while some days I get under my sheets to read a book (romance preferably) with a hot chocolate by the side.

Pop songs are my all time favorites, while romance books are most preferred. As for movies, I go for anything from war to cheesy romance.

Nothing too proud of, but I did backpacking in Vietnam and Cambodia for a month!
