I was born in Romania, but spent most of my life living in Canada, mostly in Montreal and Halifax, and a few years in Spain. Since I finished university recently, and I am not bound to any specific location (perks of doing internets stuff) I decided to travel around the world for a bit, and maybe find some new places to live in, if not at least visit a bunch of different countries. I always feel I miss out when I don't have have an upcoming trip planned, so for the next few years my goal will be to visit several different countries within months of each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I plan on travelling a bit in the upcoming future, I figured it's among the best ways to experience new cities/lifestyles while getting to meet new people from all over. It should beat bumbling about in a new city wasting half a day to find a trivial place... although at times that can be fun too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Way too many to list, but for music I listen to most genres including songs in languages I don't understand at times (thanks tunein).

Kind of a movie buff, mostly watching art house films from all over. Here's my top movies of 2014 list, it's the bee's knees :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I trained gladiator bugs to fight each other to the death. My crowned champion Beetlemus Horatio Camillus fought the up and coming super star Albinus Cato Florus but before they could engage in mortal kombat I granted their release as I felt their death would be a waste. They ended up being run over by a boy in a tricycle moments within their foray unto freedom...
