To travel around Europe and hopefuly not go bankrupt, as well as to meet as many interesting people as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm Julie, obviously, and I'm an American, sadly. I'm twenty two and I love traveling and adventures. I really want to be able to see the world and all it has to offer. I also love books, horses, horseback riding, fencing, swing dancing, and an odd collection of a bunch other things. A lot of people call me weird, which works just fine for me. I try not to be the stereotype, and we'll see how well that works out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm actually home, which is rare, my couch is open to anyone who wants it, and when I'm at college, I plan on asking my roommate if we can lend out the floor, but why anyone would come to Meadville, PA I have no idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is awesome. Really. I've surfed four times now, and each one has been a great experience I'll never forget. Everyone my friend and I met was really nice and wonderful. We only wish we had more time to spend with them!

Interests

Umm...everything? I kinda sorta love learning. I also, as I said earlier, love books. I'm an English major (creative writing tract) with a minor in math. I know, it's odd. I enjoy trying new things, even if I'm terrible at it, and meeting interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fantasy fan. Lord of the Rings, Hilari Bell, Robert Aspirin (though that's more sci-fi at times.) For books,I'll read anything that sounds interesting. Poetry, ancient mythology, history, you name it. Movies I don't get to see all that much, but I tend towards the action movies, and superhero ones are my favorite. My music tastes are even more eceltic than my book taste. Anything from pop to rock to classical to alternative. I don't really like rap or country that much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have climbed in the Alps. And gotten lost. At night. And it was starting to rain. And then we missed the last bus and had to walk six kilometers through pouring rain. Ah, good times.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mm...well, I can teach swing dancing moves, and english grammar. Maybe a little fencing. I could teach horseback riding if provided with a horse. As for what I'd like to learn...well, everything.
