Hey friends! I'm an undergrad at University College London, but I feel that I can describe myself way better if we go past the CV points.

Purely academically I am interested in Computer Science, and more recently working on research in AI, Blockchain, and Internet-Of-Things. This may sound very broad and banal, but there is something especially special in this area that allows everyone with internet and a laptop to be able to create solutions for some of the world's most challenging problems. This is what fascinates me and motivates me to keep going forward in this area, and even if you are not a science person, there are some very interesting lessons to learn from this!

Likely to the surprise of nobody reading this, I also love traveling. Not the "queuing up for the Eifel Tower for three hours" traveling, but the one that actually gives you insight into the local way of living and local psychology. From this frame of reference traveling is nothing different from learning. Learning about the other fellow people with whom we share this big spinning rock. Learning about their views of major issues and topics, their goals, their dreams, their problems, and their way of dealing with them. Because in this world, if you do not learn to put yourself in others' shoes, it is very easy to become ignorant, and enclose yourself in your own internal bubble.

Since I love learning about our world and people, traveling is one of the best ways to go about it! But it is usually very commercialized - "buy this amazing experience that will fullfill your life". This makes it very difficult to find genuine human contact with whom you can exchange ideas and learn more about reality as is, not as others are trying to sell it. And I see that Couchsurfing's goals very closely align with this.

Favourite book - "Thinking Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman - a wonderful masterpiece by a nobel prize winner talking about the human mind and the interesting inner conflicts that may lead us to think and decide the way we do.

Favourite movie - "Interstellar" by Christopher Nolan - the best Science fiction movie I can name to date with 100% confidence. It explores various existential topics in a very emotional and well-thought of story that also happens to be as scientifically realistic as it can be.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I could name a few interesting things, but nothing comes down to what I would like to do very shortly. My goal is to take 2-3 weeks and tour Scandinavia in its entirety - getting as far north as I can. Starting from Oslo, through Trondheim, Bodo, up to Tromso, down to Stockholm through Narvik, then up to Rovaniemi, and finally back down again. I am very excited about this and I hope that you can join me in this to make it a reality ^_^ !

As I previously noted learning for me is one of my most important goals. But it so happens that the best way to actually understand and learn is to also share and teach others about it, which is why to be the best you could possibly be you also have to help others improve as much as you can along the way :) !

I can bring quite a lot of different setups based on your own interests. We could start with stories from my past trips around the world, and the interesting problems and lessons I've learnt along the way. We can take the psychological route and explore human consciousness and the reasons on why we do as we do, and why do we want what we do. Or perhaps fancy a purely ethical discussion about the implications of AI and Blockchain on the world of tomorrow? If you've got a piano, we could also top it off with a few interesting compositions I've been working on recently !
